Soma Records out of Glasgow might be an institution in electronic music but they only recently started their electro sublabel Avoidant. Last year they did their first vinyl release and to end 2020 they released the 17-track compilation Defend Your Planet. Apart from including past Avoidant artists like Autonomous and CYRK, there’s also a wealth of international artists on here. Annie Hall from Spain (pictured), Australian ex-pat Assembler Code, Syrte from Italy and Detroit legend Detroit’s Filthiest.
