Dutch producer and DJ Acidic Male has a new record out on Gavelman’s label Lifeforms. The Glasgow label that specialises in limited vinyl releases of electro, techno and experimental stuff are presenting the 10” lathe Stutter Through Lust at the end of the week. Acidic Male just put out a stunner of an album and now these two tracks appear as a natural continuation of her sound evolution. ”Fear of Wetness” is a slowburn electro cut with distorted vocals and ”Trust-Resist” opens up to melodic motifs as well as layers of noise and static. The remixes, by Ludgate Squatter and Gavelman/Variant, put both tracks in the vicinity of the dancefloor.
