Skoutchi, or Skoutcha as he calls himself for this release, is one of the OG producers of the small but close-knit Tunisian electronic underground. For Alternaive, he has put together a set of 10 explorative tracks called Archive +. It’s an album but it’s also a testament to a few highly productive years where the music just seems to be flowing freely from his brain into the hardware. It would be simplistic to just call this techno. Of course there are touches of industrial sounds and neobochka here and there, but this is all about Skoutchi searching for a unique idiom that only he can inhabit.
