Groupie is the bedroom pop project of Berlin duo of Valeria Litvakov and Elena Bonura (3LNA). In late August their first EP called just Groupie came out. This self-released record is reminiscent of Litvakov’s other band Yorck Street but feels a bit more self-conscious in its approach. These seven songs are a testament to Litvakov’s genius (I think anyone who saw her play at the Kontext 2-year anniversary would agree) and the seemingly innocent nature of the songwriting hides great depth.
