Jefferson Mayday Mayday is a Sydney-based artist originally from South Carolina. His first album as Sky Chariot, called New Universe Dawning, just came out on Enmossed and it’s a deeply psychedelic musical journey that feels like it could have soundtracked Holy Mountain or something within the same realm as that. The expansive 12-track tape comes wrapped in an iridescent sleeve printed in white that somehow speaks to the way the music offers a reflection of your own experiences through the way you interpret it. A lengthy interview with Jefferson recently appeared in Adventures in the Undiscovered Interior of Underground America, in case you want to know more about his world.
