Fantastic Twins is the solo project of Berlin-based French producer and live performer Julienne Dessagne. She has been making music for more than ten years exploring many different genres of electronic music. In 2020 she appeared on Ransom Note’s Pen Pals compilations, with one of the tracks being a collab with JD Twitch (RIP). Last year she put out an experimental EP, but in April this year she landed on Kompakt with a full-on acid techno 12”. It’s part of the German label’s long-running Kompakt Extra series and simply called Speicher 139. The 3-track EP came out in April and is all but sold out.
Fantastic Twins also just released a new EP of versions of her cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” – including one by the now sadly deceased Optimo.
