Alphonse is an alias the London producer also known as Toby Tobias who’s been making deep house for two decades. As Alphonse he has tried everything from breakbeat and jungle to acid house. But did you know also did a track together with British pop singer Seraphina Simone (pictured)? Apparently they met at Glastonbury in 2017 and created this track together, called “Spirit of the Night”. It’s taken him nine years to release it, but that doesn’t matter now cause it’s a masterful track that harks back to late 80s and early 90s underground dance music. It was finally released by Ransom Note in August, packaged with 3 great dub mixes.
