YancityGurl, which is the project of Georgia-based artist Kirill, is back with a new EP. You may remember us writing about their release from last year and once again, Dare Gems is put forward in support of people suffering in Ukraine. These three tracks of downtempo bliss were inspired by people from Ukraine and Sakartvelo, the artist says. “More than four years have passed since Russia’s full‑scale invasion of Ukraine, but unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer news stories — and this is particularly true in the field of cultural and educational activities around the world.” YancityGurl released this digitally themselves and it’s been out since late August 25.
