Upon hearing Ductape’s album Echo Drama a couple of years ago I became enthralled by the Turkish duo’s blend of post-punk and coldwave. Formed by Çağla Güleray and Furkan Güleray during pandemic times, they’ve already toured Europe extensively and is probably the most requested act to play at Grauzone. Their new and fourth album has been a long time in the works and their single from early 2025 was in our playlist Apple Turnover. Since then the singles from the LP have slowly trickled out and next week Faded Flowers is finally out. They’re now based in France and working without a label.
