Another highly recommended ambient compilation to dig into is Compassion Soundscapes / Soundscapes para la compasión from the celebrated label enmossed, which is run by Glyn Maier. This benefit release is aimed at gathering aid for the victims of the catastrophic earthquake in Colombia very recently. It was created in conjunction with Portal Sur Records from Bogotá. This selection of almost 50 tracks was curated by Doris Dana (pictured), who is originally from Colombia and for whom this must feel even closer to home than the rest of us. Among the contributions to the digital release that came out September 4 you’ll find Voice Actor together with Doris Dana, Glyn Maier, Jim Muir, attachment theory, Secret Boyfriend and Florian TM Zeisig.
