Berlin-based artist Ultrademon put out the album Crone two years ago and now, finally here is the follow-up. Crone II is a self-released 9-track digital release and as usual, the artist blends several different genres together. Or should we say, they’re irreverent towards these distinctions. Some tracks veer towards noise, with black metal style vocals. But there are also found sounds, guitar and glitching beats. Looked at as a whole, the music has a magical quality to it, in the same way the best dungeon synth works with worldbuilding.
