Tawny is a collaboration between the English duo Randolph & Mortimer and New York-based Andi (pictured). Sonically, it digs into the same neon-drenched atmosphere of early System Olympia records and Maraschino’s italo obsession. Their first release is an EP called Night Eyes, that came out via French label Ritmo Fatale August 5. The highlights are Andi’s vocals, which makes “Sadistic” in particular a strong favourite. Now we can only wish for a vinyl release in the future. There are three originals here as well as two remixes.
