Essential Delights Records from France say they want to blur the boundaries between electronic music genres, and I’m all for that. Last year they put out their first compilation and last month their release Sunbath came out. This 20 track digital release hits all the right spots and even though the artwork is minimalist, that doesn’t necessarily go for the tracks. There’s some great trance from producers like Max Duret, Astral Bandit, szoliver and Sonia Michigan. But also more experimental contributions from Trillosta (whom we just wrote about), So_N and Drazzit. My favourites are the downtempo track from ISA (pictured) and the truly weird one from DJ Hauge.
