You may remember Spread Joy from Chicago from the heyday of the post-punk boom a few years ago. They put out two great records for Feel It 2021-22 and now they are back with III. The 10-track LP is out in September and the first track is on preview now. They still remind me of C.C.T.V. even if no has surpassed their greatness to this day but also newer groups like Snooper. There’s so much ingenuity in the songwriting here, and the record finishes up in under 20 minutes so you know you’re gonna want more.
