Darlynn is the duo of Daria Lourd (pictured) and Jaelynn Walls. Lourd has previously made music as Bored Lord, but this collaboration has yielded a set of queer summer hits inspired by disco, deep house and R&B. The 8-track LP called Dyke Den is coming out on San Francisco label Dark Entries at the end of August, but you can already hear one of the tracks below – ”Make Your Move” underpinned by groovy breakbeats. The duo themselves are based in Oakland and I hope they continue to record together.
