Oscar of Liiek’s side project Ostseetraum has been one of my favourite Berlin bands in recent years. Last year they put out Der Sumpf which was a major statement and actually eclipsing Liiek. Last month a new mini-album appeared on their own label Mangel. Das Ende is hopefully now the end but a revisit of tracks that were lying around and committed to tape. These 8 tracks do feel like a collection of odds and ends but at the same time there’s so much fun hidden in the nooks and corners.
