Leah Senior new LP

Leah Senior from Naarm has released her fifth album, called new Pt. Roadknight. She was chosen to boycott streaming (at least Spotify) so you should really get the LP, which is available from Eora label Third Eye Stimuli Records. Leah remains a singular voice in today’s underground, with “so many punk bands in this town” as she reflects on in the lyrics to “Softly, One Again” which also comes with an animated video that you can watch below. Leah and the band did a beautiful photoshoot with Sublation at her old house in Angelsea. Located between Torquay and Lorne, a short drive from Naarm, Angelsea is also home to Point Roadknight Beach which the 12-track record is named after.

The press text mentions Vashti Bunyan but I think the album also appeals to fans of Bridget St John and Karen Dalton.
