Meth Nuke is probably the first noisecore band we’ve featured ever, but it’s out on the singularly great R.I.P Peace Records from Meanjin. As one of the comments say: “36 songs in 10 minutes… take my fucking money”. This 7” is over before you know it, much like those grindcore records I heard in high school (yes, I was a fan of Nasum). The songs bleed into each other with little reprieve for your ears. No Fidelity, No Surrender came out at the end of June and from some quick research one half of the group is Melbourne musician Blinky who played in the great Thatcher’s Snatch. The other half I’m guessing is Eddie, drummer in a range of Boston hardcore/noise groups like Proglottid.
