Jonas Torstensen, also known on releases as Franciska, is the founder of Afvikling Kassetter. The tape label has been around for two years now and Torstensen has become a much-loved part of Copenhagen’s underground community – going to shows and playing at Drift Radio despite being blind. In April he put out a tape under his own name on Afvikling, called Den længselsfulde Vej 28/1/2026 and he also appeared on Kashual Plastik with a full album back in February. The beautiful 15-track cassette called Den falmede dag (‘the fading day’) consists of acoustic guitar, accordion, piano and synths played softly or sounding muffled. Hard not to love.
