We mentioned the post-punk/new wave duo Odor Eater some years ago in connection with Olympia punk group Fugitive Bubble. At that time they had just released a tape on Rotten Apple, but now they are back with a full-length and this time on Feel It Records. But For Who? consists of more weirdo synth-pop on an 11-track LP (also available on tape) out in late July. Check out the video for the huge sounding ”Nightcaller” below, which they produced themselves. The duo consists of Fugitive Bubble’s Harley Moore on vocals and clarinet with Logan Devlin on everything else. Divided between Olympia and Portland (only a 2 hour drive, now that I’ve checked), they’ve recorded a great record if you’re into Riki and Devo.
