Cosey Mueller returned with a new album on the Berlin label Bretford in May (also home to Pink Stiletto). As a local artist, Mueller has a strong fanbase that has also expanded far beyond Germany after several tours. Still a solo act (she played in Das Das way back though), Mueller manages to stay relevant on her fourth album in almost just as many years. I can’t think of anyone else who merges EBM and punk in such an effortless way, except way her friend Güner Künier. Check out the video for “Contraddict” below.
