German label Mechatronica has started a new series with Cold Voltage Vol. 1 – a 6-track 12” that brings back memories of their old white label series. Promising to deliver “raw machine emotion”, this EP dives right into with Elena Sizova’s track “The Balls” (pictured above). Filmmaker continues with a massive new track, passing the baton to scene stalwart Violet Poison – here in a collaboration with Echo Protocol. The flip side with music from Jennifer Touch, Mr. Funghi and The Spy is just as great. Oh I remember The Spy’s set at Ombra last winter, this track here has some of the same feel.
