I finally got to see Benzii play in Berlin for the Club8 anniversary event – that was a mind-blowing event by the way, with 20 hours of music and as many a thousand people attending if the rumours are true. We included a track from her latest EP 8forever in our Apple Turnover playlist (a collab with Amne and 0neo). A few days ago she released a brand new EP together as m3rc3d3ss, called No medal for meltdown. The alias was born with the I only cry w my airpods in EP last year, and this is a great follow-up of 3 ethereal dance tracks. The moniker most likely comes from the artist’s middle name, which is Elisabeth Mercedes Renner.
