BabyJo is s new artist from Taiwan who, get this, was a member of the Hip-Hop Club of National Chengchi University. I hear it’s one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan and the club has served as an incubator of both mainstream and underground rappers. In April BabyJo self-released the EP 冬の戀曲, which has a title in Japanese actually (‘winter love song’). It was follow by a new collaborative single yesterday, June 16. “GGG” features ZZ (a similar hyperpop-inspired Taiwan artist) and Yui (who seems to be more a creator) – not to be confused with the hugely popular Japanese singer of the same name.
