Dollcore is a collective from Houston, Texas made up of trans artists who also organise a Mutual Aid fund. Last year they put out a mixtape and this June 12 a second volume arrived. Dollcore Vol. 2 is an 11-track compilation of music by trans and queer producers from around Texas. There was also a physical release available at their release party yesterday, where Lotic played. The collective was founded by Belial and Nightgirl (pictured below).
Apart from an intro from Belial, they’ve invited artists like 0blique (pictured at the top), Sewa Choki, Bruxist, Post Modern Sleaze, Lucia Beyond and Shy Margiela for a great mix of ambient, club and post-club sounds. Go support this important project.
