New York duo R. Missing have just released a compilation of older tracks called Turning Off Lights Is My Destiny. It gathers tracks from older EPs singles – dating back to 2020, now remastered. There’s a new video for the opening track, which is also the title track and the only new one on the record. It’s a great snapshot of their music, which reminds me a bit of the old New York group My Favourite and Ladytron. If you liked Everything But the Girl, chances are you’ll like these rather minimal songs as well.
