Remember two years ago when emer released a single for Stroom? That should not come as a surprise since the Lituanian artist emer (Marija Rasa Kudabaite) is based in Belgium, just like Stroom. Now they have announced that there’s a full album coming out in July. Just like the single, you and me is a collaboration with Ugnė Uma who is based in Lithuania (pictured). Not to be confused with Ugnė Vyliaudaitė, who Marija made this record with. Uma contributed vocals and lyrics on these 12 tracks, including the 2 from the single. She’s become a fixture of the experimental network in the past year, playing live at NTS’s 15th birthday in April.
