Los Angeles darkwave duo Aurat are still alive and well. You may have noticed two new singles turned up in 2025, cause both appeared in our Apple Turnover playlist. The good news is that they have a vinyl release planned for August. Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is coming out thanks to local label Get Better Records and holds 15 tracks, dating all the way back to 2017 when ”Nazar” came out. There are tracks from both of their albums Image and Poison as well as the Khaar 12” on Detriti. The record was announced along with their new EP Cobra, whose 3 tracks rounds out the new LP.
