I only just got my copy of Quantum Web, Discovery Zone’s excellent previous album. But the New York-based project of JJ Weihl has a new album out since mid-May – the conceptual Library Copy Do Not Remove. Thankfully, you can still buy one from RVNG. They call it “a sonic document of an immersive multimedia program originally written for and performed inside of the historic Zeiss-Groß Planetarium dome in Berlin”. Exactly what that entails I’m not sure, but the video for “Dusk” might offer some clues. The Circular Library in the lyrics sounds to me like a more benign version of the Infinity Castle at the end of Demon Slayer. Check out these 7 new tracks below.
