Europa, or Moritz Haas, is a German artist who was based in Paris for a while but now seems to be back in Berlin. After having released five albums, he reached a lot of people with his 2024 album that saw collabs with bod, Charlie Osborne, Emma DJ and many others. His new album LAgoon came out on Texas label Halcyon Veil in April, with some of the same people. Several years ago he said “I guess I’ve always been trying to hunt after that hybrid moment of blissful rave and melodrama”. That’s still true after hearing these 14 tracks.
