Lithuanian label Area127 have been putting out some finely curated compilations of techno and psychedelic trance, but for their new release Soft Core the selections are more subtle. Of course that doesn’t mean they’re any less powerful. Label founder Tadan contributes the anthemic ”Free Free Party People” and there are great cuts from Teatre (also from Lithuania) and Indebrændt as well. You’ll get one of the first tracks released by London-based Likeis here (pictured) – a dreamy, psychedelic trip. Available as a 13-track cd since May 4.
