New York label Air Texture – known for its Place: series –are putting out a different kind of compilation in June. Rituals is curated by Berlin-based Dina Khashan (who is actually playing in Malmö next weekend for PLX). It’s a 17-track compilation that has one of the most seriously intriguing tracklistings I’ve seen in a while. Greater Copenhagen names like Marilao, KennyKrazyWorld and Peachlyfe meet Norwegians Oprofessionell and Alpha Tracks, meet Naarm peeps ECG and Eastern Distributor. Amazing female producers like DJ Maria., Vel, Audrey Danza, Agata and Schierke join Dina (pictured) – whose track you can hear below.
