German DJ and producer Reinhaudt had just released his latest EP io when this release for Tarnac was announced. But let’s backtrack a bit, Léolo has been making techno as Reinhardt for years – with physical releases on Puppy Tapes, 3CB and Ectopic to name a few. Last year he also did an EP together with Australian rapper Solsa. And all the while he’s been running the excellent Silencer label together with Tris. So when the 7” lathe “Speedplastic” hits the street in June, you’re meeting a master of his craft – fast, highly-textured techno but still broken and distorted.
