Lina Filipovich on Hundebiss

Lina Filipovich from Belarus has been based in Paris for a good while, working on both music and visual art. Her new album Flowers of Evil II is a continued exploration of the themes of two 1969 recordings. Both were inspired by the Baudelaire poetry collection – one by Suzanne Ciani and the other by Ruth White, created on the Buchla and Moog respectively. Filipovich’s new 8-track cassette came out in January on Italian label Hundebiss. It follows great releases on CPU Records and Blank Mind among others.

As a side note Filipovich has collaborated with our fave Tout Debord in the past – another Belarusian exilee in Paris.
