We’ve written about Swedish/Italian DJ and producer Philip Kylberg’s music before, as he’s been included on some ace compilations. Last year he put out a collaborative record with Medlock, and now he’s back with his most substantial solo release to date. Shifting Waters came out on cd via Oton’s Alliance label in March and with its 5 tracks plus remixes from Raär and DJ Hauge the EP comes up to album-length. It’s a record with considerable depth borrowing from freetekno and psy as well as IDM.
