Lethargie, or written LΞTHΛRGIΣ if you can be bothered, is the project of Matéo Fernandes that I assume is based in France. At least all the titles on this new record are in French. He’s a part of the German label Defect together with W1goss and has released a crazy amount of tracks on his bandcamp – all in the past year or so. The latest release is an album for soundcloud label Manic BB out of Scotland. Called psy it’s packed with dark psy-influenced trance and techno – a bit different from his usual bochka sound (or bubos as some people apparently call it). These 7 tracks, out since April 18, go hard but the artwork gives off a Neverending Story feeling.
EDIT:
There were actually two records that came out, since Degenerescence was released only two months ago. It’s a 6-track EP that sounds completely different and more in the artist’s usual domain. Both are great, if you ask me.
