I usually say that Grass Widow is one of the groups that has aged the best of the 2010 class. Based in San Francisco members went on to play in Cold Beat and The Green Child in Australia. Bass player Hannah Lew seems to have retired Cold Beat because she recently released an album under her own name. The selftitled record came out on Glasgow label Night School April 10, filled with 9 synth-based tracks. Andrew Kerwin, who once played in Ovens with Tony Molina, helps out on guitar which is sparsely sprinkled over these tracks.
Coincidentally, this would have fit in great on Captured Tracks in 2010 too, and bears some resemblance to the Blouse LP from the following year.
