Vidarr, or Samuel Pelliccia from Italy, is one of the residents of Berlin label Vehemence and April 15 he has a new album out for them. After appearances on two of their compilations, Inertia Latente explores a deeper and more reflective sound. It’s an ambitious album with 12 tracks produced over an extended period and sounding all the more cohesive for it. Some of the tracks appeared in his set at JK last year, which otherwise favoured techno and softer trance. This album blends nostalgic synth tones with dystopian filmic movements that makes for a really strong ambient longplayer. Listen to one of the tracks below.
