Strahinja Arbutina has helped shape the current sound of electronic music with the influential label Low Income $quad, who were championing latincore as one of the first in Europe and who have one of the coolest shows on NTS. Since starting to release his own music he mostly focused on his side label Optimism Is Out to Get You, but has finally returned with a new EP of original material. It’s called it might be hard and you might feel lost and is coming out on Copenhagen label Katharsis this week, April 9. The 5 tracks here are described as ambient trance and the artist likens it to ”waiting for a Playstation 2 at 11 years old being so excited that you got a fever”.
Comes with three remixes, including label boss Jjjacob and Estoc.
