Bassvictim new EP

Bassvictim are back with a new EP recorded in Norway, called simply ? and out via their own Victim of the Bass label since early March. The cover features a pair of custom made dolls that resemble the two London-based members. Similar to their previous record Forever it has a penchant for slower and more anthemic numbers, such as ”Sometimes I Believe In God (Sometimes I Believe In Me)”. Rather than the electro-infused first two records, this one sounds much more like early 00s indie from London, with bands like Shrag.

That’s something they share with new local groups like The Femcels, whose member Rowan did an album with Worldpeace DMT last year. And just recently Bassvictim did a single with him too (included on the new Apple Turnover playlist).
