REWIRE 2026: our picks

Rewire is kicking off, for its 15th anniversary no less, the week after Easter and the timetable is out. We’ll be there Friday to Sunday and have a programme that is so stacked we’ll probably end up missing half the shows. Just so the same thing won’t happen to you, we’ve gathered a list of our top picks of this year’s edition. At the end you’ll also find a playlist with 20 tracks from these and a few other handpicked artists performing at Rewire 2026. If you want to go deeper, do check out the official festival playlist which is 14 hours long.

If you check out our Rewire category you’ll see that so far we have covered Suzanne Ciani (performing with Actress), Colleen, Ugnė Uma, Yb3L, Jasmín and NVST. Apart from them you also shouldn’t miss:

James K – NTS wizard at Trip Lick and creator of our favourite LP of 2025 with Friend. I saw her live in Copenhagen last year and it’s a show you don’t want to miss.

Sat 11 Apr 21:00 – PAARD I

Malibu – another NTS legend (her show United In Flames is one of the most iconic of the past few years) who put out Vanities in 2025. I saw Malibu too last year (same week as James K) and I can’t wait to experience it again. Make sure to be at the venue early cause it’s bound to fill up.

Sat 11 Apr 23:15 – Grote Kerk

Acopia – with the risk of getting repetitive this is another great act I saw live last year. Based in Naarm and with Kate Durman (Purient) on vocals they nearly perfected their sound on last year’s Blush Response. Fittingly, they’re on just before James K.

Sat 11 Apr 20:00 – PAARD II

Tracey – duo from London that no one seems to know anything about, but still adore. What I do know is that their EP on AD 93 from last year was singularly great and it’ll be interesting to see how that sound translates into the live setting. Expect a packed room here too.

Fri 10 Apr 22:10 – PAARD II

Valentina Magaletti & YPY – the two artists who came together last year for Kansai Bruises (also on AD 93). It’s not a Rewire festival if percussion maestro Magaletti ain’t playing (last year she played with both Moin and Holy Tongue). The ever-prolific artist also has a new album on the way together with Dutch favourite upsammy. The venue is tiny so expect a full house.

Fri 10 Apr 23:15 – Concordia

Slikback — is doing an AV show with visuals by maltdisney and lighting by Tasya. It’s called Friction and will be the Poland-based Kenyan artist’s third appearance at Rewire (he played with AKA HEX last year too). His recent album Eftiama Kiripha from February was a winner and if that’s anything to go by it’s going to be a stunning show.

Sat 11 Apr 00:10 – PAARD I

Dim Garden – a local hero from Den Haag who is criminally overlooked outside of the synth-loving community. She has played Grauzone before and most recently the Ombra festival in Spain. She is part of the Hunger! label which we wrote about recently and will DJ as part of Rewire’s club programme at Laak.

Sat 11 Apr 23:00 – Laak

Fine – one of the highlights of last year’s Intonal festival, she joins the Rewire lineup without having released an album for two years. But a long line of excellent singles hint at an upcoming release. Fine is more than just a Mazzy Star soundalike, find out just why the Copenhagen artist is turning heads with her band.

Fri 10 Apr 19:00 – PAARD I

Kavari – is by far the biggest name on the lineup for me this year. Who cares about dusty old Blixa Bargeld when there’s a visionary like Cameron Winters doing a live set. Her DJ set at CTM Festival earlier this year was about as good as it gets, so this live AV set has built my expectations to an unsurmountable peak.

Sat 11 Apr 02:15 – PAARD II

Check out our Rewire playlist below to hear the 15 artists we’ve featured in the run-up to the festival – and a handful more.
