Last year we wrote about two releases from New Orleans-based Joshua Strachan’s industrial electronics project Desolation Colony. One of them came out on Berlin label aufnahme + wiedergabe and March 28 they will release a big discography-spanning double-cd called Wound in the Subsoil. This upcoming release includes both of the two 2025 albums, as well as the first two EPs from 2023-2024. Strachan previously played in the band Azar Swan together with Zohra Atash. At the same time they also started working together with Hospital Productions audio engineer and mixer Kris Lapke, who also worked on a lot of these 22 tracks.
