Sann Odea is the Amsterdam label started by Yb3L and Kendu Bari in 2018 and on March 4 they put out a new release from another Dutch artist, called Annebel. She’s from Tilburg and her real name is Annebel Breij. With the 5-track EP Exploiting the Situation we get her first record in two years and her most substantial work so far. The Operator Radio resident weaves a hynotising web of beats, avoiding anything that can be called straight. The overlaid textures and sounds have a psychedelic character to them, and there are also elements of triphop and bass music.
The last track is a remix from French producer Beatrice M. who is appearing at Nuits Sonores and Horst festivals this year.
