Swiss and French producers NVST and Warzou started Big Science Records in 2019. It hasn’t been the most prolific label ever but its discography boasts NVST’s influential Drum In the Bass of Attention, as well as several other gems (eg. from Lostsoundbytes). Their last vinyl release is even older than that, so this new split 12” is a welcome return to the format. Nothing more than a classic 4-track LP for the (adventurous) dancefloors, with two tracks each from the founders. Nothing Is Real, Nothing Exists came out in late December and is still available.
NVST was recently added to the lineup for Rewire 2026, which is amazing since we will be in attendance. After hearing her set at Dekmantel a couple of years ago I really can’t wait to experience one of her DJ sets again. The 2026 edition of the festival is taking place all over The Hague as usual and NVST will be performing on the Friday, April 10.
