Another Glasgow-based producer and performer, who cropped up around the same time as Heartcoregirl and who’s been collaborating with the now-idolised Kavari is Kopi Romantiko, previously called Kopi O. She put out two fantastic EPs last year and made it onto our playlist twice. In fact, her track ”Spit It Out” with Machine was one of my favourite tracks of last year and got included in the 2025 round-up. The Czech-Indonesian artist has followed all of that up with a brand-new EP/mini-album called Out of Order. It was self-released yesterday and I’ve already played it three times. These 7 tracks range across industrial, heavy beats and vocals to ruminating piano instrumentals.
