Early German industrial pioneers Nostalgie Éternelle returns to the Spanish label Industrial Complexx with a new compilation. Reaching the Elevation is a 14-track cassette that focuses on the group’s early era (1988-1990). In that sense it’s different from last year’s compilation At That Time, which was one of my favourite reissues of 2025 and mostly contained music from 1990. The tracks on offer have been remastered and originally appeared on various small-run cassette (split-releases and compilations). Out February 16, this is a fantastic document of a unique duo that operated at the fringes of several DIY genres.
