Addly Muff is a trans producer and DJ from the other Mexico in Mexico (not CDMX) – you know like the US has two Washingtons. At the end of 2025 she put out what I think is her second longplayer, called La RompeBocinas (a play on words with the Spanish word for ‘puzzle’). It’s a quite a chaotic mix of electronic music and club beats, with samples of traditional Mexican music. ”EdomeXQueen” is a good example, and Edomex is the short name for the State of Mexico. She has previously appeared on compilations from Aux1, Muakk and more so it’s great to see some of these producers also making albums, which quite rare in this scene.
