While at CTM we caught up with a couple of artists after their set. Brazilian DJ and producer White Prata played at Berghain on one of the most memorable nights of the festival in my opinion. Let’s dive into it.
Was playing at Berghain everything you expected?
No!!! It was even better tbh. I was NOT ready for that soundsystem pressure. And when I say pressure I mean the bass literally crushing ur chest. You actually feel the fucking music when you’re standing in the middle of Berghain main floor. I’m such a nerd, I love this shit. Hearing all my kicks and my masters hitting like that, physically, in a packed room… bro… I’m still speechless. It was lowkey pornographic for me.
Was there something unexpected that happened while at CTM?
Yes lmao I got nervous 😭 which literally NEVER happens. I’ve been playing since 2014. I did not expect that at all. I’ve played for 50k people at a street carnival in Brazil and it was easy. But Berghain??? That gave me insomnia and diarrhea LOL not even joking. The set was perfect tho so yeah… worth it.
You have a track called “Girl I Met In Berlin”, was she at the show?

When is your next release happening?
My next album is called BEAUTIFUL UGLY and it’s dropping this year on AUX1 from Barcelona. Don’t have the exact date yet cause we’re finishing the last details. This is the most important project of my career fr. Huge artistic milestone for me. 12 unreleased tracks I made before my China tour last year. Mixed and mastered by me btw. Can’t say more or I’ll spoil it 👀
