Last year Dylan McCartney’s grandmother passed away and in tribute to her, he put out For Those Not Here. Originally just available on The Drin’s bandcamp (one of his many projects), it has now been given a cassette release by Swiss label Chrüsimüsi Records. McCartney is currently on tour with his band The Serfs and he has also been active in the more punk-leaning projects Crime of Passing and Motorbike. But these songs are more stripped-back and vulnerable, with the 6 tracks on the a-side making up the original EP. The remaining 7 tracks consists of unreleased material that McCartney had recorded 2022-2025. Can’t believe how good the leftovers are.
