Sissy Misfit is a London-based producer, DJ and performer who has been a part of the underground scene in Turkey for many years before relocating. I first heard her last year because she put out an EP together with Blood of Aza. One of her tracks from the album Crawlskin also wiggled its way into our best of 2025 playlist. Her new album Sissy Fxxxcking Misfit came out at the end of January. It rounds up her last three singles (check out the video for one of them above) and the track “Istanbul Fever Dream” feels like something of a theme tune for her musical vision, which feels inspired by people like Coucou Chloe.
